Transom Names
Individual letters or a complete name assembly, proportioned for the stern and designed to remain elegant in daylight and after dark.
Your yacht's name is part of its identity. A.S.M. Yachts now exclusively represents ERYBAY SIGN, bringing custom-made illuminated names, logos and emblems to yacht owners, yacht builders and refit projects. Every sign is developed around the vessel's proportions, finish and visual character.
Through this partnership, A.S.M. Yachts becomes your point of contact for the complete signage project - from the initial idea and vessel assessment to design coordination, manufacturing and installation.
ERYBAY SIGN brings specialist production capabilities in custom LED, acrylic and metal signage. A.S.M. Yachts adds an understanding of yacht construction, refit planning and local project coordination, helping ensure that the finished sign looks intentional and integrates correctly with the vessel.
No two vessels share exactly the same proportions, surfaces or identity. Each project is developed to suit the specific yacht, viewing distance and installation location.
Individual letters or a complete name assembly, proportioned for the stern and designed to remain elegant in daylight and after dark.
Monograms, crests and custom marks translated into dimensional illuminated forms.
Custom lettering and branding for selected exterior locations, planned around the available surface, viewing distance and access.
A new interpretation of an existing yacht name or a carefully coordinated replacement as part of repainting, repair or refit work.
Lighting direction and surface finish determine how the sign feels - subtle and architectural, clean and modern, or bold and expressive.
Option 1
A soft glow behind each character creates depth and a refined floating effect.
Option 2
A crisp illuminated face delivers clear visibility and a contemporary appearance.
Option 3
Light visible through the sides adds dimension and emphasises the shape of each letter.
Option 4
Combine lettering, symbols and tailored lighting directions to create a distinctive signature.
Choose from metal and acrylic constructions with brushed, polished, painted or colour-matched surfaces. Available materials, finishes and lighting colours are confirmed during the technical review for the specific yacht and installation location.
An illuminated sign should never feel like an accessory added at the end. It should follow the yacht's lines, respect its materials and look as convincing when switched off as it does when illuminated.
Developed from your yacht name, logo, typography and desired character.
Planned to create an even, refined glow without overpowering the vessel.
Dimensions, depth, spacing, mounting and cable routing are considered as one system.
Design decisions, manufacturing information, delivery and installation planning are managed through A.S.M. Yachts.
Step 1
Send the yacht model, location, photos of the proposed area, the name or logo file and an approximate size if available.
Step 2
A.S.M. Yachts reviews the proportions, mounting surface, access and electrical integration requirements.
Step 3
A sign concept and production drawing define the size, spacing, materials, lighting and finish. Production begins only after approval.
Step 4
ERYBAY SIGN produces the approved design using the required metal and acrylic processes, LED assembly and final inspection.
Step 5
A.S.M. Yachts coordinates delivery and installation planning, followed by final alignment, connection and function checks.
The quality of an illuminated yacht sign depends on what cannot be seen from the dock: accurate files, clean fabrication, consistent LED placement, secure connections and a careful final inspection.
Approved drawings are converted into production files and component plans.
Laser cutting, CNC engraving, bending, welding, grinding and polishing are applied as required by the design.
Acrylic, metal, paint and surface elements are prepared to the approved specification.
LEDs are positioned for even brightness and the completed lighting assembly is tested.
A full-size layout or installation template can be supplied where required to support accurate placement.
The completed set is checked, photographed and packed according to its shape and transport requirements.
